London: Frank Sidgwick, 1908. 2nd Edition . Very Good. 7 x 9.75 inches (18 x 25 cm). Signed by Author. Grey buckram binding, illustrated and lettered in blue and gilt to front board and spine. Top page edge gilt, but dulled. Other edges untrimmed. Spine dulled and has slight wear to head. Light mark to rear board. Tanning to free endpapers. First few pages have short tears and slight creasing to lower margin. Good solid binding, clean text throughout. School prize from Oxford Preparatory School (The Dragon School) with gilt insignia to front board and prize bookplate to front pastedown endpaper. The author was headmaster of The Dragon School from 1886 to 1920, and has signed the bookplate. Two further volumes of voyages (Blue Dragon II) were published by Lynam, in 1911 and 1913. A rare signed copy. Overall condition is Very Good. Please Note: This is a heavy item and international postage will be more than the standard rate.
