Edinburgh: Edinburgh University Press, 1992. Hardcover. Very good condition. The log of the Polar exploration of 1902 - 1904 written and accompanied by photographs taken by the Scottish explorer Bruce. The editor of this volume is commended in the Foreword by V. E. Fuchs, for bringing this important log to light and for his careful analysis of Bruce's problems when he set out to organize this Antarctic expedition.

Folio, b&w portrait frontispiece, 306pp, b&w maps and illustrations throughout. Brown cloth covers with gilt title at spine. Pictorial dj with title in black at front cover and at spine, on a pale blue ground; polar map to rear dj panel. Dj is very good.
