B/w map and 84 photos by Birtles. Rebound in brown cloth with gilt titling on the spine. New endpapers. Related newspaper clippings tipped in (in the preliminary pages and in the publisher's catalogue). Lacks the original pictorial card wrappers and the portrait frontispiece. The last few pages of the publisher's catalogue have some glue-related damage and minor water stains. Notes in a contemporary hand in pencil and fountain pen on the preliminary pages and first page of text. Extremely rare. *One of the most important accounts of early Australian cycling journeys.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good.
