About This Item
London: Millington Books, 1977. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good +/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing no marks or wear. The blue cloth covers are fresh, with just a touch of wear at tips and corners. The gilt spine lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is also in excellent condition with one short (less than 1/4 inch) closed tear on the top of the front panel, but no other wear or damage. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: The first of the Jack Quentin thrillers. Synopsis: The Colonel and his henchmen -- the Vicar, Tulloch, and the Colonel's vicious nymphomaniac daugher -- controlled a criminal network with superb expertise and entire lack of scruple. It was Jack Quentin's unenviable task to inflitrate and expose them. But the Colonel had other ideas.
