Signed by Gabriel Garcia Marquez on the half-title page. Fine in a fine dust jacket. Jacket design by Carol Devine Carson and Chip Kidd. Addionally signed by Chip Kidd on the jacket rear flap. Translated from the Spanish by Edith Grossman. Housed in a custom half morocco clamshell box. Rare and desirable signed by Garcia Marquez. "This shining and heartbreaking novel may be one of the greatest love stories ever told," wrote the New York Times. It's a "sumptuous book[with] major themes of love, death, the torments of memory, the inexorability of old age" (The Washington Post). The English-language movie adaptation was released in 2007, starring Academy Award-nominated Brazilian actress Fernanda Montenegro.

Love in the Time of Cholera is a novel by Nobel Prize winning Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez that was first published in Spanish in 1985, with an English translation released in 1988 by Alfred A. Knopf. An English-language film adaptation was released in 2007.
