A beautiful volume, bound in full, dark brown tooled leather five raised bands, gilt titles, marbled endpapers, and full gilt text block with gilt decorations to the edges of the pastedowns. Very nearly fine condition with minor wear to the corners. Author was an influential 19th Century female writer from the Ohio frontier. .
