Back cover, originally tipped to last page, has pulled away revealing staples; spine loose at tail, slightly damaged at head, otherwise binding intact. Dark stain on back cover. 62 pages [xiv]. Ink signature of "Janet McTavish", listed as Junior Matriculation student, p. 15, on title page. 11 pages of local advertisements. 2 pages of student autographs; autographs throughout text. Columbian College (Methodist), the first post-secondary educational institution in British Columbia, Canada, opened in 1893 near Queen's Park, New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. In 1923, the college's theological training curriculum was taken over by the newly-founded Ryerson College. Columbian College continued to operate as a residential secondary school and general arts institution until it closed in 1936. "Lux Columbiana" was published from 1904 to 1931. (Uncommon).
