Columbian College (Methodist), the first post-secondary educational institution in British Columbia, Canada, opened in 1893 near Queen's Park, New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. In 1923, the college's theological training curriculum was taken over by the newly-founded Ryerson College. Columbian College continued to operate as a residential secondary school and general arts institution until it closed in 1936. "Lux Columbiana" was published from 1904 to 1931. (Uncommon).
