Brown cloth with gilt letters on spine and gilt decoration and title on the front board. 146pp, frontis illustration. Heavy rubbing to extremities, with boards exposed at corners. Spine head chipped. The spine lettering is faded but the front board gilt is bright. Previous owner's initials and signature to both front pastedown and endpaper. Hinge partially cracked at half title.
