Akron, Ohio: Saalfield. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. ©1914. Hardcover. 256 p. 19 cm. Copyright date only. Sound and square binding in yellow, cloth-covered boards. Top front spine corner frayed. Otherwise the boards are bright and attractive. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with age toning. Dustjacket has some edge wear, including small chips and creases and tiny tears. The rear panel has yellowed somewhat. The first title in the Madge Morton series of books for girls from the early 20th century. Four girls spend part of their summer vacation on a canal boat in Chesapeake Bay, where they solve a mystery. .
