San Francisco: Chronicle Books, 1994. Probable first edition. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. 39 pages, heavily illustrated. Charming little book exploring the magic and myth of symbolism throughout time. Rich purple illustrated cover with black titles, green spine with black titles, green decorated end papers. Very minor wear, slight bumping of corners and spine ends, interior pages bright, owner's name on title page with date, binding tight. Dust jacket duplicates cover with minor edge wer, small crease at bottom of front near fold, not clipped.
