Binding is slightly cocked off square,solid. DJ shows tanning and foxing from age (see photos), several chips and small tears, at top corners, top of spine. The DJ also contains the only writing observed anywhere in this copy, discreetly in two places: in the upper right corner of the front inside flap of the DJ, where '1.50' has been written 1/8" tall, unobtrusive; the second, a small, neat numeral '6' on the DJ spine between the title and author. Both endpapers show slight tanning and foxing, the back slightly more than the front. Textblock edges are lightly tanned and with a trace of foxing. The green boards are nice, unfaded, corners not bumped, a slight dimple on rear top edge where perhaps the book was dropped. Spine top and bottom slightly rolled.
