Mott, and an included ORIGINAL CLIPPED DUST JACKET. 16 B&W photos and diagrams. Philadelphia: The John C. Winston Company, 1933. First and Only Edition. 4 3/4" x 7 3/8", 266 pages. Overall condition of book is Very Good minus. Pages = Very good: medium tanned, occasional foxing, tight and square, only marks are those on first fep (owner signature and a #). Cover (red paper over boards with small green on tan, paste on labels on front and spine) = Good: Dirt of the Ages rubbed in to all, spine very slightly loose, slight warp to back, pointed corners and relatively intact upper and lower spine edges. Original Clipped Dust Jacket (tan paper with rust, black and grey illustrated map of India and figure on Gandhi, lettering in dark brown, 2 reviews of book on back) = Good: Rubbed, tanned, chipped, three small tears, yet whole and fully readable. Noted appraiser James Beattie has valued this book at $55.00.
