The exterior shows edge fade and handling wear along with minor corner bumps. Light blue end pages and front and rear are free and clear of any handwriting, signatures or bookplates. Pages are toned due to age and some minor foxing is present. The rear of book has an insect damage that starts of page 302 and continues on to the rear pastedown. This is only in the bottom inside corner area. The rear of book as a pocket which contains two foldouts: one being a map in the second being any rifle guard company training calendar. In addition, there's also a blue pamphlet which is the price list from the publisher.

Interior hinges are sound and not split. 244 pp 8vo. This is a semi-annual publication containing the latest thought on infantry. In 13 chapters there are presented different modes in infantry tactics either alone or with tanks; historical exercises from WWI battles; supply problems for troops and motorized infantry; and riot duty problems and riot chemicals. Full of exercises, study questions, and historical tactics and failures. A clean presentable copy.

Each panel 4 inches by 6.5 inches This is a pocket type guide, and lists the proponent as ATSH-B and when produced was intended for government use. However, it appears to have basic/standard map reading guidance information.
