Kuala Lumpur: Oxford University Press, 1971. First edition. Hardcover. Good. 11-5-15. This broad account of European intervention in Southeast Asia is divided nto two parts. The first part covers the Malay Archipelago of Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, while the second covers the mainland countries of Burma, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. The book was designed for students at the pre-university level. 582 pages with several maps tables, about a dozen black and white photos and an index. Weight: 1.3 kg. Post free within Malaysia, but, due to its weight, this book is likely to incur additional postal charges when posted outside Malaysia This is an ex-library book with a stamp on the publisher's page. The inside front cover also has an old glue mark. The text block is a little dirty. The binding is tight and the text clear with no tanning throughout.
