First edition, first printing with full number line. Historical fiction set in 17hth century China and told through the eyes of an ex patriot Englishman, Francis Arrowsmith, who witnesses the demise the Ming Dynasty and rise of the conquering Manchus. No previous ownership marks. A clean, square, tight and unmarked copy in nice dust-jacket which has no chips or tears. Very good in a very good dust-jacket. .
