London: Chapman & Hall, Ltd, 1903. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Gilt stamped blue cloth with top edges gilt. Includes Appendix, Appendix II, and index (not included in the later Chapman & Hall printing). The volume is bumped on the spine ends and corners, has sporadic soiling, and the spine is lightly sunned diminishing the gilt intensity. The rear hinge is cracked, text leaves are over-opened followeing front endpaper, and the endpapers are darkened (pastedowns lightly so). Some of the leaves toward the end of the book (text, appendicies, & index) are unopened.
