London: Longman, Orme, Brown, Green and Longmans, 1840. New Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Original green cloth binding with gilt shell design on the front, gilt titles on the spine. Some imprinted patterning, cloth faded with wear and some light discoloration. Hinge and text block tight, heraldic book plate inside the front. 12 beautiful coloured plates all present, the first being the frontispiece with tissue-guard in place. Pages smooth and clean, closed page edge a little grubby. Awell preserved book.
