London: Printed Under the Authority of His Majesty's Stationery Office By Eyre and Spottiswoode, 1914. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo. Orig. red cloth, 102pp, (19)ads. Illustrated with 20 plates of maps and illustrations. Some underlined passages in red, name on front endpaper; heavy wear and fraying to edges and corners, chafing and damp staining to rear board, but still very good. Manual intended for use of candidates for commisions in regular army, cadets of the Royal Military Academy and RMC, as well as officers and non-comissioned officers in the instruction of practical map reading and field sketches. Illustrations show examples of training and tactical maps.
