London: Macmillan, 1919. Third impression. Hardcover. Good +. 8vo. Pp viii + 510 with monochrome illustrations in line and halftone throughout. Yellow cloth boards stamed in red on the spine and upper panel. Name and address of ownership stamped on the ffe else a clean, unmarked copy in a tight binding without dust jacket. The cloth shows considerable soiling and the bottom corner of the lower board is buèmped and the cloth at head and tail of spine shows light rubbing.
