New York: Dodd & Mead, Publishers, 1870 329pp, [1], with Publisher's Ads in the back, bound in decorative brown cloth, gilt still bright, two tissue-guarded plates intact. A couple of signatures sprung, ex-church library. This book was stored with a brown paper cover over it, which allows the covers to be in Very Good Condition, but the covers were pasted onto the inside portion of the covers, leaving a residue and portions of the paper. Church library bookplate inside cover, small paper label on spine.
