Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1st printing, with unclipped dust jacket small tear to lower rear spine edge otherwise very light shelf wear only. Internally clean throughout. The diaries of a french peasant during the Second World War. He was captured early in 1940 and spent the rest of the war as a Prisoner behind enemy lines and was billeted to a Labour Farm.
