New York: Harper and Brothers Publishing, 1924. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. A very good 2 volume first edition (H-Y) BAL #3537 set of Twain's " from the grave in the authors words" on page facing the title page, autobiography. What appears to be a frontispiece is either tipped in or detached from vol I. Vol I and II are slightly bumped at spine ends and both volumes have light scratches on front and rear boards. Vol I has pencil notations from previous bookseller on ffep. Top edges are guilt and for and bottom edges are trimmed. 368 pages + 365 pages and two pages of advertisements. A very nice Twain Collectible.
