New York: Harper & Brothers, 1924. First editiion state with code H - Y. Dark blue cloth boards with stamped gilt facsimilie of Twain's signatue on front board. Textblock clean and fresh with strong hinge. No markings. Top page edges gilt but a bit dulled. Volume 1 has some spine lean and set would be near fine otherwise. Volume II square. Very close to near fine. Gilt is bright and fresh to spine. Lacking slipcase. . First American Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Plus/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
