Synopsis
Margaret Cadmore is the orphaned daughter of Bushmen who was raised by a missionary. Now grown, she moves to Dilepe to teach, only to discover that in this Botswana village, Bushmen are treated with disdain. Margaret must manage the students who chant ugly slogans at her, deal with the scorn of the villagers, and also sort out her emotions over the two young men in the village who wish to marry her despite her "low" status, but fear losing the respect of their tribe.
