Hardcover first printing with dustjacket, a handsome copy of this "first comprehensive history of the German immigration to a state of the Middle Atlantic region which shows the typical American juxtaposition of Anglo-Saxon and Continental European immigrants," book is in excellent condition, very mild tanning to the blank end-papers is the only remarkable flaw, the binding is tight and clean and the contents are fine, the green background color on the spine of the jacket is sunned to a pale green/beige cast but the spine-title and decoration is unaffected, there are also a few small edge-chips, the jacket is clean and quite pleasing to the eye overall, the original price (5.00) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, 476 pages, includes a bibliography .
