Fred Saberhagen is a master storyteller! "The Mask of the Sun" amazed and drew me in completely! What a great read! I could not put it down. I read this book in the 1980's while in school and, though I did not enjoy history class, I liked the gentle history lesson so artfully woven into the superbly imaginative science fiction. I highly recommend this book, as well as Fred Saberhagen's many other works. Happy reading!
