Green silk with gilt lettering and decoration. xlvi, 341 pp. xi, 455 pp. Translated by Sir Thomas Urquhart of Cromarty and Peter Antony Motteux. Introduction by Anatole de Montaiglon. Previous owner's name stamp, tiny bookstore sticker. Minor wear to bindings, mainly to corners of boards and ends of spines. There are two tiny insect holes in the fore edges of volume II. Contents clean and tight. Chalon's illustrations are first-rate.
