Orig. published in 1961, this is the 10th printing from Aug. 1965, identical in all aspects, retaining the classic fleur-de-lis cover design & all other original details. This copy is SIGNED with a personalized inscription ("Bon Appetit to Barbara, Julia Child, Nov. 8 1990") to half title page. In 684 pages + Index (32 pages), with pen-and-ink illustrations throughout by Sidonie Coryn, this hefty hardcover is in VG+ condition: exceptionally clean & bright, with spotting to the red top stain & some other light spots to outside page edges.Two small (1") vertical tears descending from head of spine. Interior pages show a random smudge here & there, else unmarked. Binding straight & strong, hinges secure, pages white with just a whisper of tanning to edges. NO DJ, but old flaps remain tucked inside back cover. SORRY: book is too large for expedited domestic or international shipping without preapproval of substantial (at least double) postage increase per USPS rates.
