Part of the International Library of Philosophy and Scientific Method. Series editor Ted Honderich. A principal publication of Armstrong's, this is a defense of the view that mental states are physical states of the brain. A physicalist account of consciousness. A name on the free front endpaper and a few dampstains to the textblock; jacket shows minor edge wear and two tiny discolorations on the spine.
