About This Item

Columbus OH: author / Ohio State University, 1938. Unpaginated preliminaries, 62, 2p., illustrated with small from-negative photographs mounted on standard leaves mimeo'd recto only, text a later carbon copy (a bit blurry but legible) hardbound in black cloth boards with utilitarian cover titling gilt. Covers mildly spotted and edgeworn, paperstock toned with dim splash-stains to textblock margins, a sound unexceptional copy. Find sixteen (16) 3x4 inch mounted pictures showing distant views of youth in costume and flora (boring, but.. authentic Ohio fun). Author's precis of antiquity's Spring welcoming festivity, and the more recent Englishman's (banned when the Puritans were in ascendence), suggests strongly than these were a little lewd, unlike Ohio's.
