The selection reflects the culture of the people who lived during this period and the contributions they made to their world and our own. Gold cover with medieval illustration is very clean, no marks, upper corner is creased, lower corner with smaller, light crease, corners flare up, slight corner tip and spine edge wear, spine has no creasing. Tight glued binding. Pages are quite clean, no markings of any kind, first few pages have slight fold where the cover corner is creased. 368 pages. 9.5 x 7.5 inches. HarperCollins, New York, 1994.
