New York: Harper Colophon Books, 1972 This is a 2-volume work, a scholarly treatment of the Mediterranean world in the 16th century, a fine example of "great history," history on a grand scale. Vol. 1's cover shows edge wear and creasing on spine and corners and one page partially loose from binding. Vol. 2 has minimal edge wear and is in better condition than Vol. 1. Both volumes have yellowed with age but the text is clean and unmarked and the bindings are tight.. Paperback. Good +/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" Tall; 13 x 20.
