Columbia, South Carolina: Bostick & Thornley, Inc., 1941. First edition, 1941. Illustrated with 16 lovely black and white plates from pencil drawings by the author. Brick colored cloth with tan cloth spine, illustrated dustajcket. The tan spine cloth has unevenly discolored and there are a few very tiny dark spots to the covers, good hinges, firm text block, age-darkened endpapers with initials and date at the far upper corner of the inside front cover (beneath the dustjacket flap), pages cream-colored and clean, no other names or markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [3.00] and has some age-related shelf soil to the off-white background, no chips or tears.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
