Reading Copy/No Dust Jacket. 500 g; XVI, VIII, 430 pages, front end page present but detached, weatherboards blind stamped, spine shows six compartments, severe rubbing, and top right-hand corner of the front panel and at the top edges of the back strip. Front hinge weak. The book needs rebinding. Extensively foxed throughout. . Continuation of title -- "to which is prefix'd some account of his life and writings, collected from the Earl of Clarendon, Bishop Kennett, and Mr Archdeacon Echard's hiftories. With an account of his conduct during his banifhment in Switzerland, and a copy of the infcription upon his monument. From Mr Addison." Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
