London: Joseph Cundall, 1846. First edition, and very scarce thus, with 1 copy on Worldcat. A year in the life of a 19th century wooden doll in London. Her name is Maria Poppet and she has a number of 'little mammas' in rapid succession. Octavo, original red cloth, gilt lettered spine Frontispiece and 3 plates in color by Margaret Gillies. Very Good with light shelf wear, especially at spine ends.
