The defense by Cagliostro in the Affair of the Diamond Necklace that landed him nine months in the Bastille and for which he was subsequently acquitted. Text in Spanish. Translated from the French. Very old annotations in Spanish on the margins of some of the leaves and on the last two blanks. Binding is loose. Several worm holes to spine affecting the margins of all the leaves (but not the text). A fair copy. Pinal #3705. ; 24mo.
