Green cloth hardcover with author's gilt stamped initials and wreath on the front cover. Gilt title on the spine. Frontispiece photograph of the author. Illustrated with occasional photograph portraits. Front and rear hinges are cracked. Newspaper clipping regarding Augustus W. Boworth pasted down on the verso of the last photograph portrait page following page 384. Presentation inscription written on the right front flyleaf reads, "Presented to Edward Moore by Timothy Dale - April 10th, 1911.
