Reparación menor en página 221 (mal numerada), pp 353 con extra margen y nota manuscrita antigua al margen. Es la historia de célebre obispo de Puebla, y sus famosas querellas con los jesuitas. Esta obra comenzó a publicarse en 1688. Solo se imprimieron 7 pliegos y la publicación fue interrumpida pues el padre Champion se pronunciaba en favor del obispo y en contra de sus hermanos en religión. En 1767 al abate Toussaint , en posesión del manuscrito original de Champion , escribió este libro modificando el estilo del antiguo manuscrito e insertando algunos documentos. Obra útil para conocer las querellas que dieron tanta celebridad a Palafox y que han impedido su canonización. Se publicaron 13 ediciones entre 1767 y 1772.

Manuscript dated June 1794 by Don Juan Vicente Guemes Conde de Revillagigedo, Viceroy of New Spain.Document sent to Teniente Coronel Don Francisco Menocal, commander of the 14th division located in Patzcuaro. In order to defend the Royal Dominions in New Spain, militias will be formed, except in the coasts and borders as there are already militias in these areas. Without delay, 16 divisions need to be formed each one with their companies as regulated by the Instruction. This together with nearby areas need to form a division of 610 men, of which 160 must come from Patzcuaro. The recruits must be not younger than 16 years nor older than 40 years old, height of at least 5 feet without shoes and without any visible imperfection that would inhabilitate them for service.The men in the area will be divided in 3 classes, and a lottery will be made. Folio (12 1/4" x 8 1/4") unbound manuscript written four pages.The Audiencia Real of the kingdom of Nueva Galicia receive the petition of Jose Diaz from the town of Santa Maria de los Lagos, he requests permission to conduct 160 horses to the kingdom of the New Spain to sell them. They state that since he has paid the taxes, he has permission to take them. With this document they order that nobody gets in his way. Condition: Edge wear with some chips and tears else good.

Softcover First Edition as issued in Good+ condition. xii+643pp. NOT Ex-library and NOT a facsimile. Wraps are slightly foxed on the margins of the front cover; interior bright and clean. All maps, photos and drawings intact; binding is tight but is cracked on the spine with all parts present and legible; edges rubbed and bumped, upper corner repaired with transparent tape; one foldout was apparently cut too long and the far edge is chipped and browned as indicated in the images; Morley's comprehensive study of the monuments and their inscriptions at the Honduran site of Copan, now a World Heritage Site. The volume is in remarkable shape with the foldouts appearing not to have been opened.

The Corpus Christi Church is a former church on Avenida Juárez in the Historic center of Mexico City. It is the only remaining part of the Convent of Corpus Christi, founded in 1724 for Indian women and which was closed as part of the Reform Laws. Regulations for the convent .
