About This Item

First edition first printing of this novel in which Benny Cooperman is hit over the head and suffers from alexia sine agraphia which means he can write but not read and it has effected his memory. The author suffered a stroke in 2001 and has been diagnosed with the same brain disorder and this book is his return. INSCRIBED the date of it's official release by the author on the title page "You can't keep a good man down. 29:03:05 The Sleuth Toronto Ontario Howard Engle." I've included an article that ran in the Globe and Mail that reveiws the book and give more indepth into Howards condition. In fine condition.

About Scene of the Crime Books, ABAC, IOBA

My wife and I have been operating Scene of the Crime Books since 1996. In 2004 we attempted to go against the market and open a storefront on Oakville Ontario. In August 2006 we closed the brick and mortar and humbly went back to just internet. We now do internet and appointment only through our home. So if you're in our neighborhood let us know 24 hours ahead of time. Thank you. Don Longmuir
