Los Angeles: Self-Published, 1940. Hardcover . Used - very good. 8vo; 115pp. A square, tight copy with unmarked text. 1/2' closed tear to upper ffe., margins of frontis portrait foxed. Covers with just superficial rubbing and a tiny nick on rear spine fold. Well preserved and appears unread. Laid in is a 2 page typed summary of the 'Whittier Family Feature Story', 'approved by Whittiers on 12/17/86', and it is enclosed in an envelope made out to Dr. Willard VanderLaan. VanderLaan, with the financial backing of Paul Whittier, established The Whittier Institute for Diabetes.
