This vintage Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1938 was published by Dean in London and the Title Page reads Produced with the permission of Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd. The front board has the title Lets Get Together Again. Mickey Mouse is the creation of Walt Disney and Ub lwerks, and this Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1938 was issued just 10 years after the first appearance of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in the animation short film Steamboat Willie, which was also the first synchronised sound cartoon. Steamboat Willie was released on November 18th 1928. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1938 front board is profusely decorated in colour with images of the early Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Clarabelle Cow, and other early Walt Disney characters. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1938 front board reads: 'Let's Get Together Again'. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1938 back board has the same colour illustration as the front board. The Mickey Mouse Annual binding is in Very Good + condition being very clean and complete with slight marks to the front and back boards; rubbing to the corners and edges; and a vertical crease to the spine. These are an extremely attractive set of boards and rare to be found in this state and with the original spine. There is no pagination but all thick pages containing numerous stories featuring the Disney characters are present including the colour frontispiece featuring Goofy and entitled: Cuckoo! The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1938 pages are tightly bound-in, being in overall Very Good condition with only light and small spotting, slightly more prominent to the blank front free endpapers and the Title Page. The Title Page reads: Produced with the permission of Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd
