Contains work by Sidney Keyes, Lawrence Durrell, Bernard Spencer, Keith Douglas, Olivia Manning, John Gawsworth, etc.Presentation copy, inscribed on the front free endpaper by one of the editors: "To Derek Patmore, from John Waller. 29 April 1967 [messy squiggles] If there's any more unobtainable Greek [?] we'll have to send Patmore to Coventry!'' The recipient was Waller's fellow Fleet Street poet. Derek Patmore's middle name was Coventry; he was the great grandson of another poet, Coventry Patmore.Fine in fine dustwrapper designed by John Heartfield.
