Spine ends bumped and sunned. Front pastedown and endpaper are signed by various military personnel and inscribed to Col Charles M Cummings, author of 'Yankee Quaker Confederate General' at his retirement party in 1957 (not signed by Vandiver). Light toning to endpapers and edges of book. Contents clean and binding sound. Jacket is edgeworn and chipped, spine ends heavily chipped.
