xiv+296 pages with frontispiece, plates,drawings and index. Royal octavo (9 1/4" x 6 1/4") bound in original publisher's brown cloth with silver lettering to spine in original jacket. First edition. Consists largely of letters written by John Ruskin, Euphemia Millais, and John Millais. Condition: Underling through out, previous owner's name to front pastedown, occasional marginalia. Jacket light edge wear and light soiling, spine sunned else good in a better than very good jacket.
