Color iIustrations from the original Fourteenth Century illuminated and illustrated manuscript 'Couverture' of Louis de Tarente et Jeanne de Naples. This is an original 8 page display and text disbound from the Christmas,1926 issue of L'Illustration. Folio, pages 16" tall, 12 inches wide. Intertextual illustration plates are tipped on.Text and illustrations in very good clean condition overall but margins lightly foxed and top fore-corner slightly bumped, gutter margin with small holes from the original wire stitch and lightly discolored, paper (an original dark craft stock) lightly yellowed over all.
