Rider, London, 1957. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. This is written under one of Marguerite Jarvis's many pseudonyms - this being her most popular. The general condition of this small book is very good. The dustjacket of dusty blue is good with mild wear to the edges and corners. The dj spine is faded and foxed with a recently applied round blue sticker at the base. The back dj cover has general storage and handling marks. The dark brown cloth cover is in very good condition with little wear. The spine has some wear to the head and foot. The front and back papers have discolouration from age and storage. The contents are very good. They are very clean and fresh, clear and comfortable, strong and bold. fk

NOT price cut Slight loss at bottom of spine jacket and only a hint at top really handsome copy and bright in mylar. Wonderful book about a Welsh Holy Grail like blue stone, called the "Happiness Stone" the Garreg Ddedwydd. Dylan Thomas came to see it. Several photos with it's owner. Said to come from "Palestine or "Judea' the pre-Roman name Clean free of any writing but two or possibly three pages the paper has a small printers flaw but insignificant. 135 pp. Photos of custodians in Wales. Unlike other 'Grails' this has no sectarian associations except a "Fairy' reference. This s known beautifully in 1957 as "Y Garreg Ddedwydd" The happiness stone!
