Each book includes 10 tipped in, loose plates, biographical and bibliographical notes. English version titled, 'Miro' has original glassine wrapper that covers plate on front cover. Glassine is chipped and torn. Paper-wrapper spine has small chips/tears at edges and is lightly soiled. French version has a slightly soiled front wrapper. The name 'Joan Miro' and a notation that reads 'Les Tresors De La Peinture Franciase' appears on front. Back portion of wrapper has a 1 X 2 inch chip on the bottom, back spine edge and small chips/tears on spine ends Pages are clean and unmarked. Hinges are perfect. Very nice copy.

New York, New York: Albert Skira, c. 1951. First Edition. Portfolio (unbound). Very good. Dating uncertain. A biography in the text offers the latest date as being 1951. A French language version appears to have been issued in 1949 but that predates one of the works in this collection. This was printed in Switzerland. Folio, 15 1/4" tall, 8 pages of English text plus 9 of 10 listed (1 missing) tipped on color plates, stiff illustrated wraps (1 of 9 color plates tipped onto on cover), very good minus over all, interior clean, folio pages loose, cover moderately worn primarily at corners with thin clear wrapper tattered but having kept the covers relatively clean, text paper moderately yellowed, the spine slightly chipped and top and bottom edges, plate color bright.
