A German emigration guide of agricultural & mining conditions, along with the voyage to Australia through the Suez Canal and stops in Sri Lanka. No emigrant seems to have used it as it is unopened and uncut. 8vo, v, 156pp, 13 printed photograph illustrations. Illustrations include a fantastical image of Cook landing at Botany Bay, dressed in Spanish explorers garb, arriving on a mountainous coastline, to the wonderment of a passive group of aborigines; wool bags in a Sydney, the railway between Bundaberg & Gladstone, Queensland, Publishers, tan wrappers printed in red and black with decorative border.
