Modern Chivalry, containing the adventures of a Captain and Teague O'Regan, His Servant

by Brackenridge, H.S

Condition: Poor/No Dust Jacket

Richmond, Virginia and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Johnson & Warner, 1815. Hard Cover. Poor/No Dust Jacket. Volume II only. Handle with care, this classic ode to Chivalric literature. Full leather boards, front cover just barely hanging on, previous owner's inscription on end-paper, dated to 1820, and then a lengthy and almost unreadable inscription inside rear flap. Chipping and scuffing to spine and extremities. Predictable age-toning to pages, moderate degrees of foxing to pages. Still and all, still hangs together--just barely. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
