London: B. T. Batsford, 1909. Limited edition. Hardcover. Still a pleasant copy. Limited edition of 200 copies, this copy unnumbered. A selection of 200 pieces of Ashbee's Arts and Crafts designs, from the Guild of Handicrafts (which specialized in metalworking), of which Ashbee was the founder. He was a leader of the Arts and Crafts Movement in England during the latter part of the 19th century. 4to, 12pp, with 100 lithographic plates, some hand colored. Designs include cups, chalices, goblets, beakers, tea pots, epergne, cutlery, salvers, coffee pots, sugar casters, entree dishes, mountings for claret bottles, altar crosses, hand mirrors, candlesticks and more. Green cloth covers with title label and title in black at spine (tanned). Covers are rubbed and a little marked but acceptably so; inner hinges strengthened, endpaper slightly marked, text block slightly toned at edges.
